Off the Blog
Last week I talked about selling our home and the search for a new residence. We looked and looked most of the week and came up empty handed. We came to the conclusion that to get everything on our list it would be best to build. With serendipity on our side we found a lot in a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin and we plan to put in an offer. It is really a perfect spot that is walking distance to a great grocery store, Library and the downtown. We don’t want to get our hopes up but fingers crossed!

Good luck honey! I hope they take your bid. We're a mile from the library and I love it.
Thanks Juju! You are so lucky to have the library so near, right now ours is on the other side of town and is a 30-40 minute walk.
Good luck on your offer for the lot. Husband and I would like to build sometime in the future, but we're not ready for that yet. Hope you have a great week!

Thanks, I hope so too. We built a home in the 90s and loved it, even though it was a cookie cutter/model home it was nice to have it tailored to our taste. It is a little scary but exciting at the same time.
How exciting to be thinking of building a new house! I hope you can stop by and visit:
