Off The Blog
Last Sunday, I saw the play Funny Girl. I didn’t know much about the show going in, but I enjoyed the music and performances.
While it may be expected that it is cold in Wisconsin, the temperatures are in the teens, and on Friday night, we got some snow that may stick around. I’m looking at a glass half full though as it is the perfect excuse to stay home, make soup and read.

Book Haul

I still haven’t read Lessons in Chemistry, but I think I’d like it. The snow is sticking this weekend and it’s cold in Michigan too… The rest of my family is downhill skiers, so they’re okay with it. I wish I could stay home til late spring! LOL
I’m also using the snow as an excuse to stay home and read. I hope you have a great week!
Yay for staying home in snow! It can be so cozy if we don’t have to get out.
Making soup is great but I think I’ve exhausted the possible ones that we want to eat, especially the ones that were waiting in the freezer. Have fun staying in.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I loved the Alice Feeney books I’ve read, I hope you do too!
Mmmm what KIND of soup????
We had soup three days last week, and it was delicious. I’m hoping to try Poblano Soup next week.
No snow here, but rainy cold weather tends to make me stay indoors, too.
I listened to Lessons in Chemistry last year from my local library. I think I was on the waiting list for almost a year..lol
Enjoy staying inside! We are at the opposite end of the spectrum with very hot weather which means we stay inside!
