Off The Blog
It’s the new year and time for wrap-ups and setting new goals. I just barely squeaked by with my Goodreads reading goal of 20 books. I’m turning forty in 2025 and have decided to double my reading goal this year by reading forty books. I’m also planning on participating in a few reading challenges, mainly to help clean up my tbr and, read the books from my book club subscriptions in a timely manner. Last year, while I wasn’t as active in blogging the majority of the books I read were adapted to film, this year I’d like to start a regular post comparing books to their adaptations. And while we’re at it, I plan to post more regularly too.
As for my life off the blog, I’m participating in Veganuary again this year. I enjoyed the commitment last year as it broadened my cooking and encouraged me to try new things, plus taking a stand against animal cruelty. While I didn’t stick with the vegan diet after January, it made me more conscious of what I was consuming and have more of a vegan diet than a vegetarian when given the opportunity.
