Weekly Wrap-Up #109

Weekly Wrap-up is where I share happenings on the blog, books I have read or acquired recently. I link to the Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer

The weather has been a bit crazy here, one day I’m walking to the library the next it is so windy I’m afraid I’ll be blown away to Oz.  On those days, I’ve been staying in, working my way through the book and film adaptation of Big Little Lies.  It is definitely a soapbox, and has me hooked.  Over the weekend, my brother and sister-in-law came over for lunch and a movie of my choosing.  For those who don’t know me, that is a true test of their love for me, as I’ll be the first to admit my taste in movies is not always refined.

  1. We were in shorts and tank tops on Friday and Saturday and today are in Sweatpants and long sleeve shirts and heavy jackets. The weather needs to make up it’s mind. 🙂

Lunch and a Movie sounds nice.

I hope you have a great week, Whitney! Happy Reading! 🙂

  2. Seems like the weather has been all over the place for everyone. We’ve been experiencing almost 90* days over the weekend and tomorrow it’s supposed to drop down into the low 60’s. I’m hoping the weather figures out what it wants soon. LoL

    • We ended up watching 1956’s The Bad Seed. It is totally camp which is probably why I like it. This weather would be confusing for the Royals, particularly since it doesn’t make sense to us either!

  3. I love that you do weekly wrap-ups! I wish that I had the time to make these kind of posts, but I can barely keep up with the monthly wrap-ups. I’ve also been trying to cut down a bit on blogging haha

    • The weekly wrap-ups can be a bit time consuming but I’ve found that they really help keep me focused on a blogging schedule (at least most of the time).
