Top Ten Tuesday Hosted by The Broke and Bookish
- Jane Austen (duh) — she breathes life into any character she touches/creates.
- Harry Potter Series — Hogwarts is just so damn awesome! I love J.K. Rowling
- Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell — I read this every freak’n year almost without fail, for being written in 1936 it is still as fresh as ever.
- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak — a novel about books, name me one book lover who wouldn’t love that (besides, I have some weird fasanation with the Holocaust)
- The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank — This also leads back to the Holocaust thing, but I also find this book so insperational.
- Steig Larsson author of the Mellinem Trilogy reintroduced me to the mystery/thriller genre and was sadden by his death knowing there would never be another Lisbeth Salander novel
- Roald Dahl — One of my favorite authors growing up, enhancing my love of reading.
- Laura Ingalls Wilder, The Little House series — I think these were the books that got me reading on my own and was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
- David Sedaris, who’s novels got my parents through a tough time of my childhood.
- J.R.R. Tolkien — I am so thankful for his creative mind and creation of Middle Earth.
Oh wow, great list!

Great list, a lot of authors I haven't read (yet!). Great picks.
My TTT
This is a great list! Everyone who has read Harry Potter can't be more thankful! Same with Jane Austen. Beyond amazing!
Here's my Top Ten!
Gone With the Wind shows up so much on my lists that I skipped it for this list…but I did use The Thorn Birds, which shows up almost as often. 😀
Great choices! JK Rowling & Jane Austen made my list as well.

The first TTT list this week that I've come across in which I've read at least one book by each author, all 10, actually! Great post!
The Book Thief is an amazing book.
