Top Ten Tuesday: Political Books

Posted November 6, 2012 by Whitney in Top Ten Tuesday / 4 Comments

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is a freebie and due to the Presidential election I will be listing my top four political related books.
  1. My Life by Bill Clinton: I waited in line for 7 1/2 hours to get this book signed (President Clinton said he liked my John Lennon shirt)  But this is also an interesting read for any Clinton fan but I will say that he only touches lightly on “the cigar”
  2. Christmas in Plains by Jimmy Carter:  Another President I have met and told my brother and I that it was nice to see young people here (we were only in middle school at the time).  Anyway, this was a very interesting snippet of his life.
  3. Dreams From My Father by Barack Obama:  I love him.  That is all.
  4. An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It by Al Gore:  I read this way back in 2006 when it was first published and was very disturbed by our potential future environment, I now find it even more so with Sandy.  A must read.
So have I shown my political colors yet?  As a hint, blue brings out the color in my eyes.

  1. Yes, you are showing your colors! And here I am dropping by on election night. I don't read many political books, only because I love fiction and the classics so much. But I have Dreams from My Father, and just haven't gotten to it yet.
