Top Six Books I Would Love To See As A Movie/TV Show

Wicked by Gregory Maguire — I know this is already a play but I would love to see an Oz movie that hasn’t been butchered (excluding the ’39 adaptation of course)

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak — This is such a heart-breaking movie and if done right could be incredible.  Although I have a feeling that it could be like the adaptation of Angela’s Ashes were it’s so sad that no one would go see it.

The Giver by Lois Lowry — With the success of The Hunger Games I think it could do well, although I think The Giver is a little more intellectually stimulating

Gone Girl by Gillian Fylnn — I think this is already in development but I think it would be an awesome thriller.

The Luxe series by Anna Godbersen — Between Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family and Gossip Girl on The CW I’m surprised someone hasn’t picked these soap-opera up yet

The Lunar Chronicals by Marissa Meyer — With Hollywood loving Teen Series it only seems natural that these fun fairy tale retelling should be in production

  1. It would definitely be interesting to see "The Giver" in action – almost like "Schindler's List" maybe with the colour, not the content. Here's my T10T

  2. I keep meaning to read The Lunar Chronicles but something always comes in the way. And I'm currently reading The Book Thief and I can't wait to see how they'd managed with the movie!
