My To Be Read List is a monthly meme hosted by Michelle at Because Reading. Each month I will make a post with three books from my TBR list. Readers will then vote on which book I should read next. The following Saturday the winning book will be announced. Then on the last Saturday of the month I’ll post a review.

Flavia is enjoying the summer, spending her days punting along the river with her reluctant family. Languishing in boredom, she drags a slack hand in the water, and catches her fingers in the open mouth of a drowned corpse.
Brought to shore, the dead man is found to be dressed in blue silk with ribbons at the knee, and wearing a single red ballet slipper.
Flavia needs to put her super-sleuthing skills to the test to investigate the murder of three gossips in the local church, and to keep her sisters out of danger. But what could possibly connect the son of an executed killer, a far too canny police constable, a travelling circus, and the publican's mysteriously talented wife?
The Girl in the Spider’s Web sounds like the perfect book for this time of year! 🙂
It does seem perfect for this time of year and I loved the first three books. I read The Girl Who Played with Fire in a day.
These all look good but I voted Maisie Dobbs. 🙂
Maisie Dobbs does sound really cute and an interesting starter to a series.
I voted for Maisie Dobbs. It sounded the most interesting to me. I almost chose The Grave’s a Fine and Private Place though. I hope your favorite wins.
I’ve been wanting to read all three of these so I’ll be happy with whoever wins. Thanks for voting!
I voted for The Grave’s a Fine and Private Place as I figured you probably enjoy that series if you got to #9. I hope you’ll enjoy whichever book wins.
I have been enjoying the Flavia de Luce series. They are a really fun set of mysteries. Thanks for voting.
I had to vote for Maisie Dobbs. My husband has been trying to get me to read that for years now. He says it’s right up my alley. 🙂 I hope you enjoy whichever wins! Have a great week!
