This decadent dessert tea has the homemade flavors of vanilla sponge cake drizzled with rich caramel sauce. The full-bodied base of premium black tea lends itself well to a splash of milk, making it a perfect afternoon tea to partner with puddings, scones and shortbread.

Review
I received Mrs Patmore’s Pudding Tea as a gift due to my love for Matthew Crawley Downton Abbey. I wish I could say this tea lived up to my expectations but I kept asking myself where the vanilla was. I finally decided to try it with two teabags to see if that would up the flavor. It did help, but not by much. On richness, flavor and strength Mrs. Patmore’s Pudding fell flat and like the service should stay downstairs.

This is a great review – I laughed out loud!
I thought you would enjoy it.
Well said!
Isn’t it often true that books-written-with-popular-characters-from-tv-shows fall flat?
They really do lead to disappointment. I will say that the PBS adaptation of Poldark lived up to the hype/expectation but that is so rare now a days.
Just started binge watching Poldark last night and loved it!
