Off The Blog
I rang in the new year with my boyfriend in Upper Wisconsin, surrounded by snow along with a binge watch of I Love Lucy the Hollywood season. As an I Love Lucy fan most of my life, this is by far my favorite season and has yet to fail in making me laugh. I started out 2017 with The conclusion of Harry Potter. As I have stated before, I reread this series every winter and with (in my opinion) our own Voldemort approaching office, it felt appropriate.

I used to love I Love Lucy but can’t remember when I watched it last. I need to have my own binge as she never fails to make me laugh as well. If you listen to podcasts at all The History Chicks just put up part one of their podcast about Lucille Ball. I can’t wait to listen to it! Have a great week!
Damn. I have not made it through Harry Potter even once. I have not given up on it, I am just waiting for the perfect moment when the time is right and I see what everyone else sees. Honestly, I have not made it but 20-30 pages in, so it’s not like I’ve given it a good shot.
I am interested to see your list of 2016 new releases that you hoped to have read. So many have listed ‘best of’, but I ended up listing the ‘best of as chosen by someone else because I still want to read’.
Your New Years sounds lovely.
Voldemort lol. Glad you guys had a good New Year!
I love I Love Lucy, but haven’t seen it in a while. You must have had a great time. Now that you mention it, Harry Potter would be a great way to start the year. It’s been years since I’ve re-read the series. Sounds like you had an enjoyable holiday.
I still love to watch and laugh at I Love Lucy. Grew up with the show and it never gets old. Sounds like you had some wonderful together time:)
My Sunday Post
