Sunday Post

Weekly Impressions is a weekly wrap-up post of the going-ons on my blog and what I’ve been reading. It is in conjunction with The Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and It’s Monday What Are You Reading hosted by The Book Date.

Off the Blog

This week I took a small visit to Illinois to visit my boyfriend and was a much-needed break after a hectic weekend with my young cousins the previous weekend.

I loved The Bookseller…and seeing your copy of The Luckiest Girl Alive reminds me that my copy is resting quietly on Pippa. Must do something about that!

Enjoy your books and your week…and thanks for visiting my blog.

    • I’m listening to The Luckiest Girl Alive now , but it is too soon to tell what I think of it. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed The Bookseller. I’d heard mixed things about it but as a reader I thought it sounded interesting. Thanks for visiting my blog.

I am glad you were able to get away for a little while. Hopefully you came back refreshed. Your new books sure sound good. I’ve heard good things about The Bookseller by Cynthia Swanson. The Luckiest Girl Alive sounds especially good!

    Have a great week, Whitney!

  5. That definitely sounds like a nice break! And great haul – I’m very intrigued by The Chalice and The Crown, as well as Madame Presidentess, your current read! Hope you enjoy everything. 🙂

  6. Glad you had a nice trip, it certainly sounds like you needed a break. I haven’t heard of those books, but I hope you enjoy them. Happy reading!
