Off The Blog
Last Sunday, I went to the National Mustard Museum. I have lived in Middleton, Wisconsin, the home of this national treasure for almost a year and had yet to walk through the door. There was much mustard tasting and learning of the history behind this little seed and is worth going to at least once. My boyfriend, brother and his wife all went to see 10 Cloverfield Lane this weekend and it was horrible. A ridiculous plot with a “heroine” who could barely find her way out of a paper bag yet inhibits Rachel Platton’s Fight Song. Lastly, I binge watched the first half of Making A Murderer on my boyfriend’s Netflix account, sadly he had to leave before I had finished but the show is very captivating and whether or not you think Steven Avery guilty, the way in which the trial is being handled is a miscarriage of justice in itself. I may have to borrow my sister-in-law’s password to finish watching the docuseries.

LOL! I went to the National Shell Museum (in Sanibel) yesterday and posted on Instagram that there’s a museum for everything…. Never imagined that it could include mustard! Almost worth a trip to Wisconsin 😉
I was in Sanibel in February for a much needed break from the Wisconsin winters. I went to the National Shell Museum when I was little but haven’t been back for about 20 years. Although, at the time I remember it being pretty cool. There is also an “Elvis Is Alive” Museum in Missouri so yes, there is a museum for everything!
The Winemakers and Stopped Heart have me curious. I think the Mustard museum sounds cool, and I like that you could taste them. Have a fantastic week!
The Mustard Museum was pretty cool and I’m glad I finally went. The Winemakers and The Stopped Heart piqued my interest too. While both plots are vastly different from one another they sounded very interesting and unique.
What a great assortment of books…love them.
I especially like the looks of the Lucinda Riley book. I LOVE her books.
The Winemakers looks good too.
