  1. Thanks for the award! That's so fun. Congrats on your award too.

By the way, my husband looked up the Chapter 11 thing from Middlesex and she called her brother that because he bankrupted the business (not because he was introduced in Chapter 11–I guess that was just a coincidence). Eugenides said it caused some confusion outside the United States since non-Americans are unfamiliar with our bankruptcy laws! hehe!

  2. Hey thanks a lot 🙂 Very sweet of you! You have a lovely lovely blog here and I am waiting to hear your final take on Gone with the wind 🙂

  3. My pleasure

Carin — That's interesting that Eugenides commented on the confusion of "Chapter 11" outside the u.s. but is a pretty nickname. Although, with parents naming their children Apple and Pilot Inspector anythings possible…

Vaishnavi — I'm loving GWTW but it may be a while be a while to hear my final thoughts.

  4. Congratulations on the award. I have just started following your blog after seeing your blog link for the Book Hop. I'm glad to be your 17th follower and am really liking your blog so far.

I love your profile picture-pride and prejudice is one of my favorite movies! Also I loved the movie Gone with the Wind (which is posted under your currently reading) but have been wanting to read the book so you should defiantly post a review!

  5. Yep, I've got a bit of a Gone with the Wind theme here at the moment. It's one of my favorite books and am reading it for a read-a-thon hosted by My Friend Amy. I'm posting weekly "check-ins" for it but will have a full review up after I've finished.
    Thanks for stopping by!
