Private Selection Pomegranate, Blueberry, & Acai Green Tea combines delicate green tea leaves high-grown throughout the Orient and acai berries grown in the Brazilian rainforest with sweet pomegranate and ripe blueberries for a truly exotic blend.

Recently I have been switching from my morning cup of coffee to a cup of tea.  My tea of choice has been Private Selection Pomegranate, Blueberry, & Acai Green Tea. At first, I loved the fruity tang of this tea and could drink it straight without any sweetener. However, after the fourth it began to taste artificial– and nobody wants that! I took a quick look at the the ingredient list and to my surprise it was all natural. This Pomegranate, Blueberry, & Acai Green Tea started out strong but in the end failed my taste buds. I will probably finish off the box and continue my search for a fruity green tea.

  1. It’s interesting that your experience with the tea changed after the fourth time you tried it. I like fruity teas, but there are two ingredients I don’t like that often show up in them: chamomile and hibiscus. For me, these flowers are better to look at than to taste! Good luck finding your fruity green tea. I hope you find the perfect, consistent flavor you’re looking for.

    • I agree with you about chamomile, or any floral note in tea — they just don’t do it for me. I did think it was odd that the taste changed so much for me after several cups. I’ve found a company I like, Rishi that produces Organic loose leaf teas, maybe it made me more selective.
