2019 was the year of the reading slump. No matter how how hard I tried I could not get in the groove, my reading mojo had left the building. I started out the first month of the new decade reading eight books. six of the eight were audiobooks. I love being able to multi-task while listening to a great story. Granted, I didn’t read anything steller, however I did find a great new-to-me narrator in Gabra Zackman. My reading challenges are heading in the right direction, I’ve set pretty reasonable goals and I feel that my reading for the new year is off to a good start.

I was also in a reading slump for most of last year. I hope both of us get tons of reading done in 2020.
I hope so too, reading slumps are the worst. The beginning of a new year always motivates me to read more, and fingers crossed that I don’t have a repeat of last year.
I think you did great!! Hopefully your slump has ended with 2020! Happy February!
Thanks, I hope my reading slump is a thing of the past as well. Here’s to a productive February.
