Well that’s all folks! My library officially closed today, only to be reopened on October 26 at their new “unwalkable” location. Until this moment I thought there might have been a chance that they would change their mind, but that was only wishful thinking. The old library building is sold and will be used for softball/Christian meetings. This is the point of no return. I most likely made my last “walkable” trip today and here’s what I picked up.
Sad day! Hopefully, though, the new location will be nice and offer a reading retreat?
Oh, you have all my sympathy! The closing of a library is like the loss of a dear friend. I hope you'll be able to enjoy the new one.

That's a bummer that your library is closing down but at least they let you check out more books until they open again 🙂 I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Before I Go To Sleep. I just loved it myself!
*Big hugs* I'll be so sad when I move out of the city and my library will probably not be walkable either 🙁
I feel for you! 🙁 My library is a little less than a mile away – totally walkable, but I still sometimes drive. I love that I can walk to it though. I wouldn't be happy if they moved.
