Q: Bookselling Time: Go to your biggest bookcases. Go to the second shelf from the top and pick out the sixth book from the left. Handsell that book to us – even if you haven’t read it or if you hated it. (if you don’t have bookcases, don’t have six books on one shelf, etc, pick a book at random)

The Likeness, among the rest of Tana French’s Dublin Murder Squad series is awesome.  Her characters are well developed and the cases taken on are diverse, original and keep you on the edge of your seat.  The Likeness is no exception.  I thought I had the mystery figured out from the get-go but the monkey wrenches that were thrown proved me wrong.  The main character in this story is Cassie Maddox who is a complete bad ass but just feminine enough to be soft around the edges and care deeply for her.
Pitches are suppose to be short which is lucky as I could go on and on.  I will conclude by saying that I would highly reccomend The Likeness for a fan of thrillers although do not expect to get much sleep.

  1. I've never heard of this one, but it sounds cool. My pitch was a bit *ahem* long, but I blame my swooning over the main character 🙂 New GFC follower. Happy Friday!
