Question:
What is your go-to drink and/or snack while reading?
Answer
Tea is my go-to reading beverage. It doesn’t matter what the temperature is outside, a hot cup a tea and a good book go perfectly together all year round. As for snacking, well…guilty as charged. It takes me forever to eat because I’m too busy reading the next page.

She had picked up her wand from the table, and it had emitted a loud squeak and turned into a giant rubber mouse.
My Thoughts
I really like that Goblet of Fire doesn’t begin with explaining that Harry is a wizard and instead gets right to the plot and action of the book. For my 56, anything involving Fred and George is a winner in my book and reading of their joke inventions is pure pleasure to me.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)by J.K. Rowling
Publication Date September 28th 2002
Genres: Young Adult
Goodreads
Harry Potter is midway through both his training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for hundreds of years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. But unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal - even by wizarding standards. And in his case, different can be deadly.

I haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books, but have seen a few of the movies. Thanks for sharing…and here’s mine: “AFTER ANNA”
Harry Potter is wonderful and my go-to whenever I’m in a reading slump. Thanks for visiting.
Loved Harry Potter! was one of my favorite series. I have all of them and also attended the midnight releases 😀

My Blog Hop Answer
I’m typically the last one sitting at the breakfast table, I’ve just learned to enjoy cold tea and toast.
I love the beginning. It’s one of my favorite opening lines.
This is one of my favorite opening lines in the series. It always draws me in.
The Goblet of Fire is my favourite Harry Potter book. ❤️
My favorite has always been Prisoner of Azkaban because I love the knowledge of knowing who betrayed the Potters. However, there are so many wonderful elements in Goblet of Fire that it is up there for me too.
I really loved this book though I remember being surprised by how dark it was. I love a cup of tea while reading and I don’t care about the temperature outside either!
Goblet of Fire really is the beginning of a dark time in the wizarding world and I’ve always felt the books get a bit meatier after the fourth novel, both is size and plot. Tea is good in any kind of weather, although I’ve been drinking a lot more iced tea recently.
I love the opening chapters of GoF! 😀
Thanks for sharing!
Usually I can’t wait for Harry to get to Hogwarts but, so much happens in the first few chapters that I am spellbound before boarding the Hogwarts Express.
There’s just something natural about tea and books, isn’t there!
Definitely! Thanks for stopping by.
I’ve only read the first three books but have all the movies. I really should get back to and finish reading them.
My Friday 56 from A School For Unusual Girls
Love seeing Harry Potter stories making the rounds! 🙂 Happy weekend!
I’ve only recently come into hot tea. I’m still not sure if it’s for me. Iced tea is the norm in the south. I started trying peppermint tea…and I’m putting ice in it! lol If I happen to have anything next to me while reading, I quickly forget about it and it goes cold.
I agree . . . jumping right into the story and action was the best way to start Goblet of Fire. And I love Fred & George and their products. I wish they would have included more of those in the movies.
Tea is a great drink for reading!
