Mini Challenge #1 Childhood Memories hosted by Readage
- My first bookish experience is via pictures. When I was a baby, my parents put down a book, buck and beer and depending on what I went for would determine my personality later and of course I went for the book!
- Goosebumps –I devoured those books and spent many a summer day reading instead of being outside
- First grade is when my reading really took off, I read pretty much everything in sight but vividly remembering the Little House series over and over.
- At age 11 I read Harry Potter for the first time — enough said.
- I’m stretching childhood here but at 13 or 14 I attempted to read Gone with the Wind. I say attempted because my uncle’s pigmy goat at away the binding of my paperback.

I love The Lunar Chronicles! Happy readathoning! 🙂
Good luck. Hope you enjoy your books!
I like your reading list. I’ve read only Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and want to read the Little House series soon.
LURVE your reading list girl! And that’s another thing that I learned as well! That we shouldn’t compare ourselves to other people! Although it’s super easy to do sometimes but it just wears us down! And OMG, now yo make me want to read Harry Potter series again! i have no idea how long it’s been since I read those books and watched the movies but OMG, You’ve put the LOVE back in my life! TANK YOU! <3
Hope the reading is going well. I just got back about an hour ago so now I’m officially starting. Since I was able to sleep in this morning, and can sleep in tomorrow, I’m really going to try to stay up tonight. Good luck on your end!
Looks like you had a fun and successful readathon! One of these days I’m going to sign up. Although I was hoping to be an unofficial cheerleader, my husband and I both came down with a flu, so our weekend has been a total washout.
