Mini-Challenge: Audio book dream date
hosted by Felicia @ The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog

Answer:  Jeremy Irons reading The Man in the Iron Mask

I just love Jeremy Iron’s voice, so when choosing my dream date (or dream voice) I knew it had to be him, although I wouldn’t say no to Alan Rickman reading Harry Potter either.  Anyway, he has done audio for both Lolita and Brideshead Revisited so I decided on The Man in the Iron Mask.  One of my favorite guilty pleasures is the 1998 adaptation of Man In the Iron Mask, it is extremely corny and was probably only released because of Leonardo DiCaprio’s fame with Titanic but I love it. (Irons plays Aramis)

  1. Another Illinois resident – woot! 🙂 I loved beanie babies in middle school as well. I hope your tea helps you read and that you will knock through some of the books on your list. It's nice to have a variety to choose from.

    Your cheerleader,
    Kristen

  2. Wow with a list of 20 books I dunno how you managed to pick which one to read. You're doing awesome. read for 6 hours & halfway through a book! What a legend! #TeamTiger

  3. A "new to me" blog! 🙂 I love the name of your blog, for sure. It looks like you're doing great so far. Well, good luck as we head into those nighttime hours ahead!

  4. I usually try to get a good night's sleep before the readathon, too, but last night just could not sleep. Too excited, maybe? 😉

Hope you're still having a great readathon!

  5. I think he would be excellent doing The Man in the Iron Mask 🙂 Little known fact: Karl Urban played on the Lonesome Dove Prequel as a young Call on a made for TV Movie. Which is where I got the idea 🙂

  6. Impressive indeed! It takes me a long time to read just one book, I find I constantly get interrupted. With out fail the second I start reading, I will hear from some long lost friend, the neighbor will need to borrow jumper cables, or the UPS man will show up with a surprise package.
