- The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
- His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman
- The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Monday Mini-Challenge hosted by Sarah Says Read
“What do you like best about readathons? Do you have any readathon traditions or rituals? If this is your first readathon, what do you like so far? Discuss away!”
I love the idea of reading and the relaxation it provides for a whole day, week, whatever. I also have a tendency to get lax with my reading and gives me a chance to catch-up on any reading I may be as sometimes (looking at my reading list) I fall behind on the series I like reading. I don’t really have any traditions or rituals. Maybe drinking excessive amounts of tea? But otherwise nothing special.
Starting Stats: 8:30 am
Currently Reading: The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman
Starting Page: 1
Cups of tea: 1
I like the excuse it gives me for reading, so I can be more relaxed, too. I hope you're enjoying The Golden Compass!
I like that you're counting how many cups of tea you have during the readathon! Tea goes so well with reading, I wonder just how much we tea-drinking readers consume while we're buried in books.
LOL I love that you count your cups of tea 🙂 I average about 5 a day—I drink green tea all day!
