A Winter’s Respite Readathon is hosted by Michelle at Seasons of Reading

I’m a little late getting my readathon post up which is due to two things, the first being laziness and lack of organization.  The second is that I’m in a bit of a slump emotionally, Friday is a very scary day for me with a changing of power and just don’t have the mojo to blog or read.  Once this reality sets in again I’m sure I’ll get my groove back.  In the meantime, this is what I plan on tackling this week.

  • Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling
  • The Mapmaker’s Children by Sarah McCoy
  • Victoria by Daisy Goodwin
  • All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

  1. Ugh, I feel you on the mood. Have to pay attention to politics for work, and I realized my neverending headache is b/c I can’t stop gritting my teeth/clenching my jaw. Not sure I’ll survive this year. :/

Enjoy your reads — nice range of books, many on my TBR!

  2. Thanks for joining us again for another readathon. Fantastic list!

I feel you on the mood. The dread gets worse as the day gets closer. Trying to drown my grief and fear in some good reads, family and friendship. Hang in there. <3

  3. All the Light We Cannot See has been on my TBR for entirely too long. I look forward to what you think of it. I hope that you are having a successful read-a-thon.
