Tracy Crosswhite has spent twenty years questioning the facts surrounding her sister Sarah’s disappearance and the murder trial that followed. She doesn’t believe that Edmund House — a convicted rapist and the man condemned for Sarah’s murder — is the guilty party. Motivated by the opportunity to obtain real justice, Tracy became a homicide detective with the Seattle PD and dedicated her life to tracking down killers.

When Sarah’s remains are finally discovered near their hometown in the northern Cascade mountains of Washington State, Tracy is determined to get the answers she’s been seeking. As she searches for the real killer, she unearths dark, long-kept secrets that will forever change her relationship to her past — and open the door to deadly danger.

Fond Of

My Sister’s Grave by Robert Dugoni had Fantastic pacing. It was slow but steady laying out all the information at hand. Robert Dugoni let the reader form our own opinion as the plot and characters develop.Truthfully, I thought I had it figured out within the first half of the book. It stared me in the face and seemed painfully obvious. Although, the author throws a boomerang and brings the reader a Tracy back to the start.

Not Fond Of

My Sister’s Keeper had what I call “Goosebump Chapters” being very short and ending on a cliff-hanger. This had the the reader rushing to the next chapter only to find it was a cat behind the squeaky door.

Final Thoughts:

Robert Dugoni created a stay-up-all-night thriller and looks to be the beginning of a great proposed series.
